The apartment I rented through AirB&B was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view. The beach was okay, but the bathroom only had towels and toilet paper, no soap or other amenities. The security guards made the stay much less enjoyable. They watched and questioned everything, even objecting when my child jumped into the pool after taking a bite of food, before finishing chewing. Another family had to put away drinks in plastic cups because outside food and drink weren’t allowed. They want guests to order from the restaurant, but these are apartments with individual owners. What’s the point of renting one if you can’t bring your own things? An all-inclusive hotel would be a better option. I won’t come back. The guards were extremely annoying and treated paying guests like trespassers.

The apartments are big, though some feel dated and others have been renovated beautifully, depending on the owner. The pools are beautiful. The beach is nice but a little rocky.

I spent a month renting an apartment in the Marbella and found it very safe in and around the grounds. Parking was easy, and the staff were top notch.
