Hotel Olimpo

Pretty good, clean, and the staff are nice.

Breakfast and dinner were included during my stay, though I skipped breakfast and didn’t think much of the dinner. The place works for a few days on a tight budget, but it’s old and some things need fixing. My room’s mini-fridge had been unplugged for some time, and mold had grown in the humidity inside. It could also get noisy. I heard staff laughing and joking in the hall and outside my window, which faced the parking lot, and their conversations woke me up. Olimpo is a decent budget option, but if you can afford somewhere else, I’d book there instead.

The food is great, I really loved it. But there were no water bottles available on site, so you had to use the cooler, which I hate doing in public places because of hygiene concerns. The desk lady was rude. I brought the keys and remotes to her, and she told me to take them upstairs to someone I didn’t even know. She got mad when I refused. None sense!

I was looking for an inexpensive place for a few days while my vehicle was being repaired, and this worked out fine for about 50 to 60 dollars a night. The beds were very, very comfortable, the air conditioning was nice and cold, and breakfast was included in the price. There are lots of small stores and shops within walking distance. It’s not a 200.00-a-night hotel, but for what I paid, I was okay with it. After two nights, my girlfriend and I didn’t want to leave so soon. I can recommend it at that price.
