It’s safe and clean, and the price is reasonable. The front desk receptionist is a nice guy. The hotel is near downtown and next to the public beach. Motorcycles going to the beach make it noisy outside from 5pm to 7pm, but thankfully it’s quiet at night 😁. I highly recommend it 😜.

The owner was warm, professional, and attentive, and the beach is right there. Having coffee in the morning by the water felt almost therapeutic. I’m usually honest in my reviews, good or bad, and this place really is great. For a Caribbean escape, I loved it. See you on the beach, coffee in hand.

The rooms are clean, though pretty bare by US standards, and you shouldn't expect much service since this is a vacation property. It's an okay place, but it's in a residential area, and locals crowd the public beach each afternoon. Scooters park right outside, so it gets noisy from 3-9 every day. Pick up food and drinks before you arrive or once you're there. There are bodegas about a 1/4 mile away, and restaurants on the main street below the property, where staff will call out to get you to come in. Check things out first. Above all, being FLUENT in Spanish helps a lot. This isn't a resort, you're staying among the locals.
