B&B La Isleta Apart Hotel

My kid wanted to sleep in the balcony bed every night 😅. We loved the relaxing views and comfortable rooms, and the facilities, service, and recommendations were all great. Highly recommend this place.

The included breakfast was really good, and there’s also a little pool and an on-site bar. Such a sweet property, with great staff. I love this little gem in Las Galares and would absolutely stay again!

The shower was fantastic, with endless hot water and good pressure, and the new AC worked well. The bed was great to sleep in, and the sheets were clean. Towels were clean too, though some had holes. The ocean views and location are nice, with restaurants and bars just a three-minute walk away. Unfortunately, the empty lot out front is full of old boats and trash, which spoils the view somewhat. The rooms are very dated and not cleaned well. Cleaning was offered, but they only made the bed, leaving the floors and kitchen untouched. Drinking water was provided, but the containers were often empty. We left before breakfast was served on the first morning and never came back; nobody even greeted us, which felt very unpleasant. There was no reception or anyone around to ask for help. The staff we met were Haitian and barely understood Spanish, and not English either. I contacted the owner once about laundry service and never heard back. At $110 a night, it felt expensive for the service and accommodation we got.

We spent two weeks at La isleta with family in the largest apartment, and it was awesome. The closest beach is nice, while La Playita, which we liked best, is a 15-minute walk away. Shops and restaurants are only a 2-5 minute walk from the location. The apartments were nice and well equipped, though a few things could use a little renovation. Dominique was helpful and quickly arranged anything we needed to be more comfortable. His local contacts for boat trips, buggy tours, and other activities were reliable and safe. The staff were friendly, although we sometimes had to tell them when we needed cleaning or fresh sheets and towels. We absolutely recommend this place.
