The hotel was closed, and apparently had been for the last eight months. Expedia took our reservation and payment, but when we arrived, we found the place shut. Luckily, the security guard was very friendly and drove us to nearby hotels until we found one with the two rooms we needed. We ended up staying at Paradiso del Caribe, which was great and at least made up for the inconvenience.

The staff were friendly and the place was clean, but breakfast choices were limited. It's pretty funny that their ads show a kitchen, yet there wasn't even a glass to drink water from. They said it would be fixed. I won't be coming back.

My family and I loved our stay. We really appreciated the personalized service, and the staff were well trained and attentive. The care was wonderful, and we have no complaints. We had a very good weekend overall, and it's quite possible we'll return.
