Sandra, the chef, brings a lot of creativity to Dominican cuisine, and the results are delicious. Noemi and Jonathan were incredible hosts, making us feel warmly welcomed and sharing so many stories and insights. This stunning, rather unique place in Samana is perfect for taking in the views, nature, and beaches of the beautiful peninsula. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

We planned on two nights, then stayed for another because the ecolodge was just perfect. It’s close to Las Terrenas and makes a great base for kite surfing, scuba diving, waterfall hikes, or simply a relaxed day at the beach. The chef prepares amazing dinners, and the owner is such an inspiring person that we ended up talking for hours. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Clave Verde has become the highlight of our family vacations. We love that the kids and we can spend time in a greener, more peaceful and beautiful world. The first time we visited, it took our breath away; the next time felt like coming home. We’ve been returning as often as we can since discovering it during our many years of vacationing in the Dominican Republic. It’s a wonderful escape from the noise of the world, with prize winner food, great cocktails, and extraordinary conversations.

We stayed at Clave Verde Ecolodge with our two little kids and had an amazing time. The beautiful setting is full of greenery and feels peaceful, and everything was spotless, from the rooms to the pool and garden. The food and breakfast were delicious, and the kids loved having room to explore safely. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the lodge’s commitment to sustainability and the local community was inspiring. It felt good to be somewhere eco-friendly that still offers comfort. A perfect family escape, highly recommend!
