El Rincon de Abi

It’s a four-minute walk to both the beach and town center, and the rooms are super clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and the small, pleasant pool gives the place a boutique hotel feel. We had a great time, and it was totally worth the price.

The location is spectacular, just a few steps from the beach. We stayed with our Labrador, who had a great time in the spacious garden, and the lovely French owners made us feel welcome. El Ricon de Abi felt like home as soon as we arrived. We loved the arcade games and the common area decor. It’s a beautiful, chic place, and our stay was relaxing and amazing. If you want somewhere laid-back in Las Terrenas, this is a great choice.

We stayed here in February 2021 and thought it was great value, especially with breakfast included. The owner is super nice, the internet is fast, and parking is free. I’d suggest two changes: let guests adjust the AC temperature, since it was too cold for us, and improve the soap quality. It ran out after one shower.

I’ve been here three weeks, and I love it enough to come back next year. It’s quiet and very safe, and my room is cleaned every day. My bed is comfortable, there’s a fan and a safe for valuables, and the wall decorations are cute. No bugs, either. When I got sick, the owner checked on me and asked if I needed anything. The price is excellent for what you get. And the breakfast complaints? I had eggs cooked to order, toast, pineapple, cereal, tea, and juice this morning. You do have to pay in cash, but that’s fine. The location is fantastic, with a pool to lounge by, and I recommend Coco Pizza at the end of the block. Come visit and enjoy yourself.
