Hotel Casa Nina

The owner was great and helped us with our travel plans. It’s well located, with easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants. I’d definitely come back.

Eva and Francois were wonderful hosts, and they sell really good coffee. Our room had a clean, lovely bathroom, a comfortable bed, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. There was a bottle of water for each of us, plus a terrace with a swing, table, and chairs. Parking is free, and there’s a guard in the evening who also cleans the pool during the day. The beach is right across the road, about 30 seconds away, with lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby. We heard some loud live music at a bar, but it stopped around 9:30 pm and didn’t bother us. One tip: hot water is available, but it can take up to five minutes to come through after running cold. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Thank you!

The rooms were clean and the pool was refreshing. The owners are a kind, helpful couple, and the place is lovely, right beside the beach. Would recommend it 100%.

The location near the beach and restaurants is great, and the pool and common area have a nice, intimate feel. But we paid $170 a night and had a rough stay, with several problems. Our room was full of mosquitoes. The refrigerator didn’t work, there was no drinking water in the room, and the bathroom had no soap. There were just two towels for six people, and only one blanket for four beds. The owners also seemed very unhappy that our kids were using the pool, even though they weren’t loud or obnoxious. One child dropped a leaf in the water, which really upset the owners. They appeared not to like having children at the hotel. That’s fine if the place is adults only, but there was no warning; instead, we got dirty looks and heard them talking under their breath in French, apparently thinking we couldn’t understand. I wouldn’t normally mention each of these things, but for that price I expected much better. I hope the owners become more welcoming to families, or make it clear that the hotel is adults only, so other families don’t get the same treatment. With some improvements to these other issues too, the place could be very nice.
