Las Palmas Residence

The garden is lush, green, and well cared for, and we loved sitting on the porch in the two swing chairs. We spent five nights here and would happily recommend it if you want somewhere calm. The basic, dated apartments have a great vibe and their own charm, with everything we needed. Staff were always smiling, friendly, and helpful, and cleaning came every few days. For 100 peso, you can get a huge barrel of water. It's centrally located, near the beach, the town centre, and good restaurants on both sides of town. We parked on the well-lit street outside, where there's security at night. We didn't need AC, since the fans were enough. The beds were quite hard but fine. The kitchen wasn't very well equipped for cooking, and the counter was very low. We ate out anyway.

We slept really well, even though the bed wasn't especially wide or comfortable, and the place isn't very modern. The ceiling fan was plenty for us in March, so we didn't need AC. It's good value, with a lovely garden, a cute setting, and very friendly staff. They cleaned every second day and left clean towels, toilet paper, and the rest. We'd definitely come back and can highly recommend it.

We were very happy with the place and nearby area during our few days here. It feels like a quiet oasis in an otherwise busy beach town. There's plenty of room inside the private two-story bungalows, which have what you need, so it could work well for a family. The garden is full of trees, flowers, and birds, and both the beach and city center are a short walk away. It's very affordable.

The grounds are stunning, and the staff did everything they could to help us. My sister and I spent four nights here. The houses are simple but comfortable and quiet. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.
