Residence Mar Azul

Power cuts are common in Las Terrenas, but at Residenziale Mar Azul they have both a planta and a well, so we never had to worry about losing electricity or water. The setting is peaceful and secure, with the beautiful beach just a short walk away. The host was incredibly kind and always available to help with my requests. I had a relaxing stay and would highly recommend this beautiful, comfortable place near the sea.

I stayed for a whole month and didn't want to leave. The clean spaces, privacy, amenities, and relaxing pool made it unforgettable. It's just steps from the beach, and the price is very affordable for that location. Francesca, one of the managers, was always ready to help and made the stay delightful. I felt at home. Highly recommend.

Francesca, the owner, was very helpful and made us feel well looked after. The residence is in a convenient spot, a few steps from both the beach and town center. Our apartment was quiet, clean, and well equipped, and the free internet worked well. I'd definitely recommend it.

The location was great, peaceful and away from the bustle but close to the city center. Desiree is lovely aside from her dismissive response to the internet issue. She replied quickly when we reported the other problems, recommended events in town, and kept us informed when heavy rain caused water or power outages. For a long stay while working remotely, though, I wouldn't rent this place. The Wi-Fi was so bad that video calls were impossible, so we paid for Claro SIM cards ourselves. We had been told the internet would be much better. When we raised the issue, the host said she had stood by our window and YouTube video was working, so the connection was good. An extender didn't help. The kitchen was poorly equipped, which made cooking difficult, and we had no cleaning supplies. For half our stay, the bathroom smelled bad from the pipes. There was no backup electricity, so during an outage affecting half of Las Terrenas, we lost power twice for a few hours.
