Zemi Miches Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton

The excursions were fun, and the shows had a good mix, from Spanish rock and roll with Gipsy Kings to traditional Dominican dance, Circus de Soleil, dance classes, and karaoke. The hotel was great and the service phenomenal, but the people stood out most. The Dominican Republic has fantastic people, and the staff were no exception. Sunny, Junior, and Victor were fabulous bartenders, and Scooby Doo, Omar, and Dannie Boy were great on entertainment. Angel, Eduardo, Arbaro, and Yohandy were the heroes of my vacation for tracking down my lost cellphone. You all made the trip unforgettable.

The resort never felt crowded, but Superman brought great energy to the pool each day and the evenings throughout our stay. His enthusiasm, positive attitude, and way of engaging with guests made a real difference. We’ve stayed at several resorts over the years and haven’t had entertainment this good before. We looked forward to the activities every day, and Superman made the vacation memorable. Thanks to him and the whole entertainment team for such a fun stay. We can’t wait to return to Hilton Zemi Miches.

We spent a week in the plunge pool beach view room and were really sad to leave Zemi Miches. The grounds were immaculate, with crews always working on something without disturbing us. Dinner was a beautiful experience each night, with amazing cooking and presentation. It was all delicious, and we went home ten pounds heavier! The staff made every day feel welcoming and special. Scooby, Jose, and Raul were great at the swim-up bar, Luis was quick on the pool deck, and Alvaro at the front door was fun and got us in and out of transportation quickly. My only suggestion is to provide a hand skimmer for the plunge pools. Jets and filters didn’t clear much of the surrounding debris. We saw a staff member skimming every morning, but by midday the pools were quite polluted, and we’d have been happy to skim ours ourselves. If you’re thinking of booking Zemi, do it!

The staff were kind and hospitable, and the food and drink choices were plentiful. We tried almost every option without feeling we were eating the same thing over and over. Our favorites on the F&B team were the CA bar bartenders Sergio, Beatriz, and Victor. The restaurant teams were kind and the food was very good, but service felt less polished than elsewhere in the hotel, with some long waits to order or get drinks even when the restaurants weren’t full. The main lobby bartenders also didn’t provide as good an experience as the CA bars. I mention it sincerely to help; it didn’t seriously affect our stay, and I’m sure they’ll improve with more time and experience. The location and facilities felt like a dream world for four days. The lobby was breathtaking, and the scent program made us excited to enter each time. Rooms and other facilities were amazing too. Housekeeping was excellent, as was the Club Azure concierge team, especially Anissette. The landscaping and décor were stunning, and we were glad to find such a natural setting instead of the typical beach scene. As Club Azure guests, we felt special, and the facilities dedicated to the group really delivered.
