The beach has a lovely quiet stretch, and Lucia restaurant was a 10/10 for us. We came back to DR for the second time and wanted a beautiful place where we could fully unwind. This hotel was absolutely worth it. Everything looked lovely and was clean and well kept, with excellent food and service wherever we went. Great value for money. Thanks so much :)

10/10
The room was gorgeous and thoughtfully laid out, and the grounds were full of flowers. We loved the food, too, and the beach is stunning. What really made our stay, though, was the staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and they kept making sure we had what we needed. We could tell they cared. We hated leaving and can’t wait to return.

The gardens were spectacular, the design felt just right, and the location was the best in DR. We had an amazing vacation in this magical place, with tasty food and unbelievably good service. Everyone on staff was so friendly and welcoming. There were a few too many knocks at our door, but they were all positive interactions. The pool and hot tub were the perfect spot at the hotel. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to others 🤩

Playa dorada was a lovely choice with its clean beach and calm water, which was perfect for swimming with our little one. This was our second stay at Casa Colonial, and we brought our almost one year old son this time. Every detail in the beautifully appointed hotel felt luxurious, and we love the location. The staff made this visit especially wonderful. They were fabulous, made us feel at home, and adored our son. The food and service were amazing as usual. Thank you to all the staff. I wish I remembered everyone's names, but Victoria at breakfast was the sweetest.

Our room was quite large, with a soaking tub, a full bathroom, and a half bath. The restaurants were great, too. If you want a quiet place with perfect service and wonderful people, this is lovely. Nicest place on the island, at least in Puerto Plata.
