The owners are friendly, genuinely nice people, and we liked the tidy little inside yard. The rooms are small, but very clean, with fresh sheets and nice hot water. It's affordable accommodation, and you can pay in cash or use your Expedia reservation.

We found this super cute place at the last minute, and it's close to the airport. I especially liked the locked gate, since it keeps people from coming in to sell excursions. It is in the middle of nowhere, though, so you'll need an Uber to get anywhere.

The room was modest and small, but clean and comfortable, with working air conditioning, internet, a TV, and a little refrigerator. It's very quiet, set away from the main streets, and conveniently near shopping centers, general stores, and the airport. Good value for what you get. Breakfast costs extra, but Teresa prepares it deliciously and is very kind. Try the “3 golpes,” a traditional Dominican breakfast. I also had the pleasure of meeting Alejandro and the owners at breakfast. Thanks for making us feel welcome at Yamilí Hotel.

Alejandro was a terrific host. The rooms weren't big, but they were surprisingly comfortable. It was a great, rustic motel for a layover and a good place to stop for the night.

The coffee in the morning was made with so much love, and that was priceless. We felt at home from the moment we entered the peaceful paradise you have created. Finding this hotel was such a blessing. I have no words for the peace I felt here. If anyone asks where to stay, you'll be first on my list without a doubt. Blessings to you, and we'll see you soon.
