The lively atmosphere and pool were the highlights for us at Breathless Punta Cana. We had a great stay and found the service good. The food was fine, though it didn’t wow us. Having Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana next door gave us more dining choices, and we thought the food there had better variety and quality. We’d consider coming back, especially to mix in meals at Dreams.

Shanty kept the beach lively and got people involved, and the nighttime shows had so much heart behind them. We just got home after a week at breathless and loved it. The rooms, service, beaches, food, and entertainment were all fantastic, and it felt like the staff really wanted us to have a memorable stay. The restaurants served different things, and The Grill did a great steak. Make sure to stop by The nook coffee shop, the coffee is amazing. We had a lot of fun and would love to return.

The beach was beautiful, with really soft sand and plenty of volleyball and other activities. We had a great time with our big group. During the day the pools were busy with shows, and at night there were fun parties with lots of performers. The food was great, whether from the buffet, restaurants, or food service. You can also go over to DreamS resort Nextdoor, though that side is more family-oriented. We’ll definitely be back to breathless.

The grounds were lovely and well cared for, and everything was very clean. We stayed 11 nights and had a wonderful time, with great staff and plenty of delicious food. Nightly entertainment was good, though it follows a 7-night cycle, so longer stays mean seeing some shows again. Access to Dreams Onyx next door is a nice extra. The nightly pool parties were electric, and yes, it gets loud. That’s part of the deal here. For some quiet, the water park at the sister resort next door was a nice escape. Even in the family-friendly area, the kids often behaved better than the adults! My wife and I just finished five days at Breathless Punta Cana and had an amazing time. The grounds and facilities were beautiful and meticulously kept, and the staff really stood out. Emely, Giovanni, Miguel, and Karen made us feel welcome. Yeral at the Wink Bar was an absolute legend. Marcos and Deivi looked after us at the buffet and later at the Italian restaurant, with flawless service. And Franklin "El Sazón" at the Barefoot Grill brought the best beach vibes. We’re already missing it.
