We keep coming back to Club Med Punta Cana, and this was visit number four. The mix of activity and downtime leaves us feeling refreshed. It’s a big place with plenty of walking, which we actually like. There’s sailing, snorkeling, yoga, tennis, pickleball, archery, walking and running paths, a good gym, spa services, and plenty more. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the resort feels safe. It’s very family-friendly, with a cheerful atmosphere we enjoy. Chefs are also accommodating with allergies and special diets. If you want a quieter couples’ trip, Club Med Michès may suit you better, but Punta Cana is what draws us back.

The staff made the place feel like a friendly community, and I had a great time watching the Super Bowl on three huge screens. I met lots of people from around the world, especially France and Canada, and the food was fabulous. I was told this is the largest Club Med. There’s also an adult pool with an Olympic-size lap pool. It’s a high-energy resort with something going on all day and night. Classes start at eight in the morning with yoga, then continue with fitness sessions, Zumba, dance, tennis, and pickleball. There were three yoga instructors, one from fit bodies and two on staff, and I could choose from several kinds of classes. Three were offered each day, including one by the pool. The entertainment was fabulous, and it was sweet seeing teenagers dance late into the night. There were over 600 kids when I visited, and the day camps looked so fun to watch. I wish I’d had that kind of experience as a child. Families with children would have a great time here. A special shout-out to Melanie, the fitness and Zumba instructor. I teach fitness and yoga myself, so I know the effort it takes to keep classes upbeat and engaging. Melanie brings professionalism, enthusiasm, and great energy to her teaching. Miguel, the activity director, was also energetic and kind to my husband and our two friends, and often checked in with us. All the staff were excellent.

I met some great people and came away with memories I won't forget. The Teen Club was friendly and exciting, with fun activities every day. Florian GO was always energetic and kind, and made sure everyone felt included and had a good time. Thanks also to Alexie and Junior for being supportive and fun during the activities. The Teen Club was one of the best parts of my trip, and I definitely recommend it to any teenager visiting Club Med Punta Cana.

The food was delicious, and the surroundings were beautiful and relaxing. There were activities for everyone in our family, so we never ran out of things to do, and the staff were friendly and attentive, always putting in extra effort to make our stay special. We had a fantastic time at Club Med, beyond what we expected, and already look forward to coming back. A big thanks to Florian et Banana, the best G.O. They were amazing!

The kids club was easily the highlight, especially for ages four to five. It had varied activities and great energy, and our child loved it. Irena and Kyky were warm, engaged, and clearly wonderful with the kids. Babyclub was okay, though its facilities and experience weren’t as highly rated. The beautiful setting, facilities, and strong children’s program give this resort a lot of potential. But the service elsewhere was all over the place, from good to frankly terrible. We often had to ask more than once for water or coffee refills, and requests were ignored or took a long time. Basic family needs, including a crib, baby bath, and check-out arrangements, took repeated follow-ups and escalation. Transportation and coordination were poorly organized and communicated, adding stress to a holiday that should have been relaxing. For this price level, guests shouldn’t have to keep chasing staff to get basic service or have requests resolved. The service doesn’t match the premium cost. Better management, training, and accountability could make this a great resort, but as things stand, the stay doesn’t justify the price.
