Amelia has been a fantastic housekeeper. She anticipates what we need, and even replenishes water, soft drinks, and towels after we shower before our evening a la carte reservations. Our family suite is worn, dated, and damp. I think that may be typical in this climate, since even swimsuits don't dry outside in the sun in 12 hours. The air conditioning works very well, and we barely spend time in the room. For our low maintenance Canadian family of five, it's more than adequate. The ULC pool entertainment crew, especially Black Diamond and Omega, keep us engaged and entertained. They're fun, kind, and accommodating in French, English, and Spanish. The circus show with elastic man and crew was awesome, and the foam party was great too. There's lots to see and do around the resort. Food at the ULC restaurant is great, the a la cartes have been good, and there are plenty of non-alcoholic drinks. I don't drink alcohol, but my husband seems happy with it. Dolores, our coffee guy, is the best. It's easy to find shade at the ULC pool or beach, even later in the day. The kids have had a ball floating, building sandcastles, and snorkeling to see fish. We've enjoyed the mix of people here, many from Europe, Canada, Puerto Rico, and elsewhere. A few tips, 1-5 USD here and there, go a long way. You'll get great service if you're appreciative, kind, and patient. Here's to four more days of a relaxing vacation!

Ana greeted us with a smile each morning in the buffet restaurant and gave us the best service. Felicidad also made a big difference for our family. She got the kids involved in all sorts of games and activities, and my two boys joined in more than they have on any other trip. She definitely made the vacation memorable. We travelled this past week as a family of four with two grandparents, and had an incredible time. The activities and atmosphere made it a memorable family vacation.

We have been to the Dominican Republic around ten times in the last three decades, and this year's Michael Jackson was the best we've ever seen. He looked and danced like MJ, and even knew the song words, which was a first. My friend said he was as good as the West End MJ. Felicida was a lovely, friendly, energetic lady. The entertainment made the end of the day fun, and a couple of cheeky lads in particular made us laugh.

Felicida from the kids' entertainment team was wonderful with the children. She was patient, they love her, and she put on a great kids' show. The hotel is great and I'd highly recommend it. My one small improvement would be the restaurant service, where bowls, glasses, spoons, and similar things were missing.
