The apartment had great views and an amazing pool, and our host was great too. We stayed in an air bb. The place was hit hard by the hurricane, so I understand the repairs. There was no washer or dryer, so check that beforehand. There were no local channels either, but we had our Amazon stick. For cooking, there was a stovetop and microwave, but no stove or pits, I think?
Sotogrande is beautiful, and although construction was going on when I posted this, it was still quiet and comfortable overall. The giant pool, peaceful beach, and ocean views from the patio stood out. The staff and grounds crew were excellent, there’s parking, and nearby beaches have quaint restaurants.
A lovely, quiet place with an amazing pool and incredible ocean views. It’s in Cap Cana, though, and nothing is within walking distance, so you’ll need a rental car.
A peaceful, beautiful spot by the sea, just right for a weekend. The apartments here can also be bought for a very reasonable $500,000. Ours had three living rooms, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a terrace, with qualified personnel and a beautiful view over the pool and beach. Dominicana feels like heaven on earth. I’d like to spend my whole life here.
We stayed here in 2023. The Airbnb Manager removed my review from their app, so I’m posting this to warn others. The property badly needs TLC. As I understand it, a hurricane damaged most of the place, and it has mold and other problems. I’d especially avoid the Airbnb Manager named Rosa Elba. She lies and pretends everything is fine, even though the mold and smell are obvious. Somehow she can delete negative reviews of the properties she manages at this location from the Airbnb app. The most recent negative review on her page is 100% accurate. Stay away if you value your health and money. See the photos below showing water damage and mold.
