This place is very remote, with no grocery stores or restaurants in walking distance, aside from the resorts. Moises and Prospero drove us around for a reasonable price, and Manny cooked delicious meals. The menu is small, with generous portions for USD$15-20. Don’t miss the fried fish. I also loved the mofongo and traditional Dominican breakfast. We spent two lovely nights in a little beach shack. It was more comfortable than I expected, and the beach looked just as gorgeous as I’d hoped. The shower is only lukewarm at best, though after a full afternoon in the sun, that felt refreshing. The ocean right in front has strong waves and currents. Walk about 8mins south along the beach and you’ll find a nicer swimming spot. If you’re up for an adventurous trip or want a more authentic island-life experience, I recommend staying here.

A lovely beachside spot with a fantastic beach and a safe feel. The cabins are simple but clean and comfortable, and apartment 1 was my favorite since it faces the water. Manny and the team were welcoming and friendly. A hidden gem among all the huge hotels. Bring mosquito repellent!

Maurelys, Angel Manny and Prospero made our three days unforgettable. They treated us like family, and the view was perfect. Such a fantastic place, we’ll definitely be back.

The views are incredible, and the food at the restaurant was great. Since the shops are a bit far away, I’d pick up snacks or things for the fridge. They have a bar too. The owners are friendly, speak English, and are great people. The rooms are nice. There’s no air con, but the ocean breeze was so good I got cold with just a fan. It felt like a true Dominican experience, and all my stress seemed to melt away. If you need to work online, their Starlink internet is quite fast. Sitting in the “Office” here is something else. I’ll be back for more of the Goodlife.

We spent two perfect nights in a bungalow. Mani was really kind and always available, and the meals were very good, especially the fresh fish. I recommend this wild, remote place, far from Punta Cana’s resorts.
