We had such an enjoyable vacation. The grounds were lovely, with lots of palms and flowering shrubs, and the beach was wide. The resort was budget friendly and a convenient size to get around. Check-in was quick, and the ocean-view upgrade I’d asked about by email was handled with my credit card beforehand. The rooms were fantastic and spotless. I also liked using the wristband as a room key, so there was no card to lose or accidentally demagnetize next to my phone. Breakfast was especially good, and the fruit was amazing. The à la carte meals were good too, and booking them through the lobby kiosk was easy. Drinks were a little weak, though the lobby bar made them somewhat better than the beach bar. After dinner, we liked relaxing in the lobby with friends and listening to the entertainment. The theatre shows started later than we wanted, since a full day in the sun had us ready for bed.

Ducks, peacocks, and geese wander around freely, which makes this one of the few hotels where you can really see nature. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the service is good. There are plenty of sunbeds on the great beach. There was some seaweed, but they cleaned it every day. The all-inclusive drinks were okay, and the food had lots of variety and was very good. The themed evenings were fantastic.

The beach and gardens were the bright spots. The water was a perfect blue, the beach was stunning and stretched for miles in either direction, and the hotel gardens were nice. The location is good too, with beautiful natural spots and a few cool bars nearby. One day they had a coconut party with free fresh coconuts to drink, which was nice. The food, though, was simply awful, the worst I’ve ever had. The buffet meat was cooked until it was extremely dry and painful to chew, and everything else was bland. Breakfast was the one meal that could be okay, thanks to the omelette station. The scrambled and boiled eggs were a no-go. The à la carte restaurants were worse. Service was shocking, with rude, miserable staff who paid little attention. The food was slimy, and I felt I might get sick eating it. The beef carpaccio at the Italian restaurant was almost offensive to me as an Italian. It seemed like the same buffet food, just served on a plate. The staff generally seemed miserable, with no smiles or greetings. Ordering a drink sometimes felt like they were doing me a huge favor, and some were outright rude. I wonder if poor working conditions or bad management had something to do with it. The room was old, dated, and lacked care in its decor. It wasn’t very clean either, with mould and deep grime in places. We had to keep asking reception to have it cleaned, and it went three days without being made up. The shower pressure was so weak I could dribble harder. The peacocks were cool to see, but they shouldn’t be in food areas. I saw one eating from a plate that had briefly been left unattended, then pooping on the table. If you want a beautiful beach at a budget-friendly price, this might work, but you’ll definitely want to eat out every night and avoid dealing with the staff. Then you might find a little slice of paradise 😊

The pool was clean and well cared for, though some guests saved sunbeds in spite of the resort rules. The beach was nice, with a little sargassum, and staff at the bars and restaurants were attentive. The local drinks were about what you’d expect at an all-inclusive. We were a family of four with two children and had a good stay overall. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and room service met expectations. The thermostat was the main issue: it wouldn’t let us set the temperature properly, so the room got quite cold overnight. The front desk suggested opening the balcony door to switch off the air conditioning. That worked, but it felt odd not to be able to control the thermostat directly. We mostly ate at the buffet, which had a nice range of food. Drink service there could be inconsistent, and sometimes we got water or other drinks from the vending machines ourselves, along with breakfast coffee. Staff did clear plates promptly and kept the tables clean. We also tried the Mexican and Italian à la carte restaurants, where both service and food were very good. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend the resort.

The location was convenient, close to shops and local attractions, but still peaceful. I found the stay relaxing and comfortable, and the price felt like good value. I’d gladly return and recommend it. The staff welcomed me warmly and handled check-in quickly. My room was spacious, clean, and nicely designed, with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. I appreciated the complimentary water, good toiletries, and reliable Wi-Fi. The facilities were impressive, including a well-equipped gym, relaxing spa area, and a beautiful restaurant with fresh, delicious meals. Breakfast had plenty of options for different tastes.
