The pool and bar area were the best parts: clean, relaxing, and well maintained. Room service was good, and the cleaners were friendly and clearly tried their best. Breakfast was decent, with lovely fresh fruit juice and coffee, plus sausages, bacon, pancakes, yams, potatoes, beans, cereal, and assorted pastries. Still, the week with my partner was disappointing, and I wouldn’t return or recommend the hotel. Our first room had a very strong, unpleasant smell. We reported it several times before they moved us two days later. The hotel needs upgrades. The bathroom ceiling leaked whenever it rained, and damaged spots had visibly been patched. The location was fairly convenient, not too far from Blue Mall and Punta Cana Airport. For a beach visit, the hotel bus drops you off at 10am and picks you up at 4pm.

I booked at the last minute, and for the price it was good. The room could definitely use an upgrade. The staff were pleasant and accommodating when I missed my flight and needed to change my dates, and I appreciated their help. The area seemed safe, though I didn’t really go out unless I had an excursion booked. There are a few places for food and drinks just outside the hotel gates, plus a mini mart and small shopping center a few minutes’ walk away. There isn’t much else close by.

The hotel was nice for the price, with a good pool and bar. The room smelled, and the air conditioner was broken. They repaired it, but it never really got cold. The breakfast was the best part.

The hotel is old and clearly needs repairs, with too many issues. My room didn’t look like the photos on hotel.com, and I had to tell them three times that the AC wasn’t working. By the end of the night, nothing had been done. The place wasn’t good overall, and I wouldn’t recommend it. There’s no elevator, and there was very little customer service to help with luggage. The front desk wasn’t friendly or communicative. They just told you to sign the paper, check in, and you were good to go. The transportation took too long to arrive the next day for the beach, and the service was terrible. They only care about the money. There are too many policies, but they don’t have the right things in place. The room photos are misleading. I’m asking the property manager to take this review seriously because the experience was very bad.

I’m here now, on day two of five. The room is clean and spacious, but the television doesn’t work properly. We’ve reported it twice, and they still haven’t switched it out. The air conditioning isn’t really working either. It’s not very hot right now, so we can leave the balcony door open for a breeze. Breakfast was okay, and the pool bar service is nice. Every worker we’ve encountered has been pleasant, even though our TV and AC problems are still unresolved. If they fix them, I’ll update the review.
