We felt right at home thanks to Andrea, the kind owner. It’s a little paradise by the ocean, and the beach is only a five-minute walk away. Such a lovely place to rest!

The staff were genuinely kind, and we liked the pool table, the good coffee, and having access to a kitchen. But the owner's penny-pinching left us feeling robbed. The rooms and location are good, yet our WiFi didn't work, the jacuzzi wouldn't heat, the bed was tiny, and our terrace had no lights and only very basic outdoor furniture. It wasn't what we expected. Charges came up for everything: AC was $10 and laundry was 500DOP. More seriously, despite booking online, we were told payment had to be in cash. Paying by card would mean a 15% extra charge, although the online listing said there was no card fee. The owner had promised us a lower rate if we paid cash, then changed that at the last minute and charged full price. We also had to pay withdrawal fees at the only ATM in town. Unprofessional.

We spent one day on a horseback ride arranged by the lodge, which was a really enjoyable way to see different parts of town and ride along the beach. There are secluded beaches just a short walk away, too. The owner was friendly and helpful, welcoming us and staying easy to reach when we had questions. Breakfast is available, with delicious fruit, though there isn't a full restaurant; they can deliver dinner. We ate out at town restaurants most evenings. Would love to come back.

The quiet and serenity here were incredible, even though town is just a seven-minute drive away. On my first stay, I loved the beautiful, clean, modern room, and it was very comfortable. The patio and outdoor couch were a great bonus, giving me somewhere to relax outside the room. I'd definitely come back.
