Araya Resort

We came in December and still think about Araya every day. Vanina, Fernando, Miguel, and Chef Alex helped make it the best vacation for my husband and me. The food at dinner was exceptional, especially the ceviche, and breakfast was wonderful too: fresh juice, pancakes, French toast, eggs made as requested, and tropical fruit. The grounds are gorgeous, and the view is even better than in the pictures. The serene pool is a great temperature, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds, all facing lovely views. The restaurant is just above the pool, a few steps away for food or a drink, or you can message on WhatsApp. We had lots of fun exploring nearby beaches and town on an ATV booked through Araya. It's a lovely place to relax by the pool or explore the peninsula, and waking up to birdsong and that view was incredible. For an adults-only relaxing getaway, this is the best place on the island.

The rooms were very clean, with breathtaking views, and the pool and shared spaces felt restful. Everywhere had a peaceful, pleasing feel, and the service was great. Rossano and Miguel looked after us excellently, and the coordinator answered our questions and worked around a timing issue. Whale watching and other excursions are nearby. It was absolutely beautiful, and I hope we can visit again.

We felt pampered the whole stay, thanks to the attentive, responsive staff. The villas are comfortable, with lovely attention to detail, and the secluded setting among nature faces right onto the ocean. From the pool, the sea view is stunning. The on-site restaurant is excellent, and there's plenty to do, including excursions and relaxing massages. A magical, luxurious experience. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect at this beautiful resort. It's well maintained and high quality, and such a relaxing place. The staff were incredibly kind and helped us with every little thing.
