Ronaldo was really kind and made us a great breakfast, but I wouldn't recommend staying at La Rancheta. I'd look for another place if I came back to Las Galeras. Our room had a serious ant problem, and there was what looked like bird poop on the bathroom counter. My partner also saw a cockroach run across the floor. The property seems like it needs a new housekeeper and some maintenance to get back to its full glory.

The beach is very good and about a 10-minute walk from the place. Back at the property, it was tranquil, and the simple rooms were clean and cozy. Ronald was kind and ready to help, and the breakfast he made was the best I've ever had. I'd recommend staying here. Thank you, Ronald!

We spent three nights here and really liked it. The owners were very nice and helpful, and they're great cooks. It seems especially suited to people who enjoy nature and animals. The beach is just a five-minute walk away.

A lovely, peaceful place with kind hosts. I found it great for individual travellers, and the beautiful bay and Playita beach are only a five-minute walk away.
