Dario, the owner, is a great guy, kind, helpful, and easy to talk to. The room was clean, nicely built, and pretty spacious. It’s a calm, quiet, beautiful place to stay, a good choice if you want to relax and combine it with time in Las Galeras. There’s a beach for swimming 300m or 1km away. Definitely recommended.

The location is superb, close to the beach and really quiet. The villa and guest room, or rooms, are cozy and nice. It could do with some redecoration, but generally feels like home. The food was the one letdown for me. Sorry, Dario, but the shrimp pasta and the dining experience could use some improvement.

Vila Caleta was so peaceful, with fresh air and beautiful beaches. I had my best vacation there. Dario, the owner, is really nice, and I can’t wait to go back.

The Cottage is basic but does the job, and it’s wonderfully quiet compared with Punta cana or the center. I loved the relaxing views of the horses and beach. Dario is the best, cooking really well at his little restaurant next to the hotel and sharing recommendations for beaches, restaurants and activities. It’s 150 from the beach, but 2-3 km from the center. You’ll need a car or motorbike to get to other beaches or the supermarket.

A peaceful place for a vacation, with clean rooms, lovely ocean views and the beach right next door. The customer service was great.
