All seven of us, my children, wife, mother, and me, came down with a flu-like virus. The apartment was always damp, the air conditioner wasn’t well maintained, and cockroaches and mosquitoes were everywhere. The bathroom ceiling even collapsed while one of my children was showering. We told the owner right away, but she did nothing. The pool was awful, the bathroom was filthy, the kitchen had no electricity, and there wasn’t even a microwave. The owner was unpleasant and kept complaining about everything the kids did. I rented the place for almost three weeks and wanted to leave from the first day, but Christmas season meant there was nowhere else available. This was the worst vacation I’ve ever had. A week before checkout, I had to leave for a hotel, and the owner wouldn’t refund the remaining days. Completely unacceptable. I strongly don’t recommend this apartment to anyone.

The place is nice to look at, but the apartments are dirty and in really poor condition. We hired someone to clean ours. The people who “manage” the place do little besides clean the pool. The generator is only turned on by one person, so if he’s away, you’re stuck without electricity. There used to be a guard, but there isn’t one anymore. This was my third visit. The last time was seven years ago, and there are new owners now who have let the apartments deteriorate. The sliding balcony doors and front doors are loose and have gaps. Our AC was broken; later we got a replacement with no remote, and the room was ice cold with water leaking from the unit. It costs too much for rooms in this condition, and there’s no service with only one man working while his family just hangs around all day.
