AC Hotel Santiago de los Caballeros

We made good use of the rooftop, with its pool, cigar lounge, restaurant, moonlit dining, live music, and DJ. It was all the way live. The hotel is also well placed near restaurants, shops, and major roads, so it worked well as a base for business or leisure. Inside, it’s modern, clean, and well kept, with a sleek look that stood out from other places nearby. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and nicely furnished. Staff were friendly and professional from check-in to housekeeping, and especially helpful with local suggestions and transportation questions. I’d recommend AC Hotel Santiago to visitors looking for a comfortable, reliable modern stay.

From the rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant, you can see across the area, since the hotel is one of the tallest buildings around. My room was clean, and the staff were kind. The place seemed a bit out of the way at first, but downtown was an easy Uber ride for brunch and some local chocolate, just 5-10 minutes away.

The pool deck is lovely, though the water was so cold that nobody could really use the pool. I also enjoyed the small breakfast buffet at the restaurant on the lobby level. The property itself is new and beautiful, with clean, modern rooms and very friendly staff. The gym was superb and had an almost spa-like feel. A really enjoyable stay.

I’m here right now and really happy with the place. I’d seen reviews saying cleanliness and service were below par, but the hotel looks pretty new and is spotless. The staff have been friendly and accommodating, and the food is great. Food Circus food hall is right next door, which is a nice bonus. I’d stay here again.
