The colonial center is close, with a supermarket nearby, and there's a shared kitchen. Staff are friendly. The room is basic but clean and cheap, with a bed, fan, private bathroom, and hot water. WiFi works throughout. A good fit for backpackers.

The owners were fair with us: when we nearly left a charging cable behind, he ran after us. There was also an extra bed where we could put our things. The price was good and supermarkets and the city center are within walking distance. The kitchen could be better maintained, though it was fine for making coffee. Internet was unstable and kept cutting out.

The room wasn't ready at the 3 pm check-in, and the owners and employees were extremely rude. They wouldn't let us wait inside or even unlock the doors so we could come in and talk. This was a horrible place. Stay away.

For an affordable overnight stay, the room had the basics: a bed, nightstand, TV, and bathroom. The overall cleanliness could be better.

Jimmy's simple house is about 10 to 15 minutes on foot from the colonial center and tourist attractions. There are lots of local restaurants nearby, and the bus terminal is around a 20-minute walk. Highly recommended for budget travelers.
