Hotel Aston Rubi City Suites

I booked a room at Aston Rubi back in September for the busy Bad Bunny concert period, so I expected the confirmed reservation to be kept. Instead, I arrived at 3am today and was told the hotel was full because of a system error. My room wasn't available, and I was left without anywhere to stay that night, basically stranded. I know it was a busy time, which is exactly why I made the reservation well in advance. This was a really disappointing experience, and the hotel's disorganization and failure to honor my booking are unacceptable. I hope others know Aston Rubi may not be dependable about reservations during major events. If you're thinking of staying there at a busy time, I'd double-check and have a backup plan.

The room had a few issues: the Wi-Fi kept cutting out, there was only one TV in the bedroom, the water was warm rather than hot, and some basic pots and pans were missing. Even with those drawbacks, I'd recommend the stay. The hotel was clean, in a secure location, and the staff were very friendly. I also loved the rooftop pool area with its bar and music, and the view was great. There's a gym and a play area for kids too.

Attention! $600 was stolen from my girlfriend's wallet, which had been hidden in her suitcase. We're trying to get the money back now. I'll update this review about how management responds.

The staff were friendly and spoke English really well, and security was everywhere, so I felt very safe. The hotel was also spacious and very clean. By far the best place I've stayed. Highly recommend!!!
