Casa Pantheon sits right beside the Pantheon de la Patria, and Alcazar de Colon, Museo de las Casas Reales, and Santo Domingo’s best restaurants are all within walking distance. It’s a great base for getting into the city’s history and culture. The house’s colonial architecture fits beautifully with the historic Zona Colonial. There’s character and sophistication throughout, from the detailed furnishings to the pretty courtyard where we had morning coffee. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the modern amenities we could want. The king size bed made for a restful night, and we especially loved the elegant shower in the en-suite bathroom. The staff made a real difference, with a warm welcome and attentive help throughout the stay. From the moment we arrived, Casa Pantheon felt like a place of elegance and charm. We left refreshed and inspired, and eager to return to this hidden gem in the heart of Santo Domingo’s Zona Colonial.

The pool became our favorite place to cool off from the summer heat. It was clean and well maintained, and relaxing there at sunset with a cocktail was a real treat. The staff also made the stay special, with kindness, courtesy, and professionalism that exceeded our expectations and made the vacation unforgettable. Casa Pantheon Luxury Colonial House is right in the heart of the city, so we could easily explore the lively colonial area and its hidden spots and architectural wonders. The décor blends colonial elegance with modern comfort, and the charming, sophisticated rooms have little design touches that add luxury and originality. Right in the middle of all the action, this is a beautiful house. Close the massive wooden door after stepping into the courtyard, and it feels like you’ve entered a peaceful, luxurious world.

I’ve stayed here three times and it’s been great every time. The housekeeper is so helpful and kind, and the place is beautiful. When I’m in Santo Domingo, this is where I stay.
