Enrique Hotel

The location worked well, close to the historic center without being right in the middle of its noise and bustle. Two supermarkets were about a 10-15 minute walk away. I stayed for two nights and would recommend it. The room was clean, with both air conditioning and a fan, which really matters in the heat. Reception was open around the clock and helpful when I needed something. A towel and soap were provided, and you could ask for more toilet paper.

The room was spacious and quiet, and the hotel staff were really nice. I stayed two nights and found the location ideal, with everything within walking distance. The price felt fair too, I got my money’s worth.

The room was extremely hot when we arrived and never fully cooled down. One bed had no linens, and the comforter, sheets, and towels all looked very old. The fridge wasn’t plugged in, there was no phone to call the front desk, and no complimentary water. Behind the nightstand was dirty. I booked two nights and asked for a refund for the second night, but they refused. I asked to cancel the second night.

I spent three nights here and really enjoyed the stay. The room was incredibly comfortable and the service was great throughout. It’s affordable, so I’d recommend it to anyone making a quick trip to Santo Domingo on a tight budget.
