Fully Serviced Apartment at Regatta Living II - 6C

There was a blood stain on the bed sheet, and I won’t stay here again. I asked twice for cleaning, but nobody came. When I requested extra towels for myself and the other person on my reservation, I was questioned about whether they were for pool guests, and none were delivered. After we’d used the pool, I hung a towel and swimsuit on the balcony, and they called us to tell us to take them down. We had called ahead to request a late checkout, yet someone knocked to ask why we were still there. We had to give him the number of the person we’d spoken to. Later, while we were upstairs eating with visitors, the manager asked if I planned to have more guests. He said guests weren’t allowed, but he’d let it go so we wouldn’t go somewhere else. After that, we decided to leave.

I’ve been here over a month now, and the main issue has been a neighbor across the street with a barking dog. Management spoke with the other building’s management to try to sort it out, but the barking came back. Apart from that, this is a great place in the nicest part of Santo Domingo, in Paintini. I’m a picky American and only rent the best Airbnbs, and this tower has pretty much everything: a ground floor coffee shop, rooftop gym, restaurant, large jacuzzi, two saunas, and two massage rooms. There’s free parking for one car, and having a guest bring a car doesn’t seem to be a problem. The tower also doesn’t give you trouble about bringing friends or lady friends. Food deliveries arrive quickly, and I recommend Uber Eats. The apartment has a small shower, and the water pressure fluctuates while you’re using it.
