The breakfast won me over. I usually skip hotel breakfast so I can try new places, but I ate here every day. It was a wholesome buffet with all the basics, really fresh fruit, and excellent coffee. The location is right where you want to be in the colonial zone, and the area felt very safe. The room was decent and comfortable. A lot of the staff speak pretty decent English, and it was fun practicing and learning Spanish with them. As a traveler from the US, I felt very comfortable here.

I’m a repeat customer. It’s a good place to stay, with efficient staff and a very good breakfast. The street is lively, and you’re close to everything in the old city.

My safe wasn’t working, so I took my purse with my wallet in it to breakfast for around 10 minutes. When I came back, the cleaner had taken the wallet. It was later found behind the bathroom sink, but $50 was missing. The cleaning supervisor insisted this had never happened before. I was just relieved to get my wallet back since my IDs were inside. Please lock up your things or take them with you.

La zona colonial has plenty of restaurants, bars, and museums, and this small boutique hotel puts you right among them. The staff are great, and breakfast is included and very good. It works well for couples or families. I’ll definitely return.

The rooms are basic and suited to spending the night, but the rest of the hotel feels cozy. The staff are very friendly, and the location is the best part.
