I left feeling the experience was misleading and unprofessional. The property looked different from the online photos: the patio seemed neglected, with overgrown plants, and the pool water was greenish and poorly maintained. The rooms also had none of the basics, not even soap, shampoo, or conditioner. The breakfast was just a slice of toast, one egg, and a small black coffee, with no juice or butter and no option for another slice. The front desk and phone staff came across as arrogant and dismissive, and even laughed at guests traveling for business. Most seriously for a business trip, the hotel charged all the taxes but still hadn’t provided a fiscal invoice after more than a month and several requests. That’s unacceptable if you need proper paperwork and raises concerns about tax compliance. I’d choose somewhere else if you need invoices, decent service, or basic hotel standards.

I wouldn’t come back, even though the shared areas are very pretty. The main pool seemed quite clean, but the small one looked really dirty, and there were lots of mosquitoes. The breakfast was entirely self-serve, and some items were dirty, including the juice glass in my photo. The bed linen was dirty too, with sticky stuff on the pillowcase, so I asked them to change at least that one. There was no TV, so you have to connect your own Netflix or similar. They don’t speak English. Getting one night cancelled was difficult because the staff didn’t seem to know how to use Booking.com, and the receptionist didn’t even have access to the system. They need to improve both cleanliness and service.

The grounds were beautifully kept, and the pool was lovely. It’s a peaceful spot for taking a break and relaxing. The service was top-notch, especially Miguel, who was so friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Even Christmas dinner felt like being welcomed into a typical home, with warmth from the people there. The service was excellent.
