Hotel Plaza Kavia

There's a very nice restaurant at the hotel, and it serves drinks.

The room was bigger than I expected, and the beds made for a comfortable, restful stay. Cleanliness was disappointing, though. There was a lot of dust on several surfaces, and the bathroom had a constant bad sewage smell. Service depended on who was working. The night receptionist seemed unmotivated and unfriendly, which made a poor first impression. In the morning, the receptionist and owner were attentive, friendly, and ready to help. They made the experience much better. There's potential in the space and comfort, but the cleaning and nighttime service need to be more consistent.

The historic center is a 15-minute walk away, and parking is included, but I wouldn't come back. The rooms were dark, with a window boarded up, and the shower had weak water pressure. Staff weren't friendly, and breakfast was only a sandwich unless you paid extra. It's expensive for what you get.

For the price and location, I'd call it excellent, as long as you don't expect a five-star stay like an Airbnb or hotel. The service was quite good, and breakfast, fairly stable internet, and a bathtub with hot water were included. Parking is pretty limited, so check if there's space before driving over. Good value for the money.
