Stayed at the end of September. It was a decent place, close to Colonial Zone, with ocean views.

Other hotels were full, and I only needed somewhere to crash for the night. The room turned out to be elegant and comfortable, more than I needed for a price I was happy with. Breakfast was included. Booking through Booking.com is more affordable. Highly recommended.

I stayed for two nights. The price and location near Colonial Zone were the only real positives. The room wasn’t cleaned well, and I found belongings and hair from the previous guest, plus ants. There was no bathroom mirror, breakfast was very basic with just two sandwiches, and the Wi-Fi was painfully slow.

The roaches were huge and all over the room at night, though I didn’t see as many during the day. I started giving them names. To keep them away, you have to keep the room cold and all the lights on. I slept with the lights blazing, wearing a sleep mask, and that helped. The receptionist always seemed stressed and annoyed, and wasn’t much help. I’d paid extra for breakfast, but she only vaguely explained that it was served in the lobby from 8:30-9:30am. I didn’t want it until my last day anyway, so that extra payment felt wasted. They don’t take cards. I booked with Booking.com and had to break a $100 bill for pesos, which was fine since I used them on UberEats. Checkout was supposedly until 1pm, but the receptionist said 12:30. I got the feeling she didn’t want me there. I wouldn’t recommend this, even as a 3-star hotel. Maybe just a quick stop for 1-2 days max.
