A great little place for a budget stay. The bed was really comfortable, and everything was spotless. José and Chantal amd the front desk folks were all so kind and wonderful.

There’s plenty of room in the spacious rooms, and the bathrooms are a decent size. The staff seem to care about guests, too. But getting to my room meant climbing stairs, and then there were more stairs inside it because it had two levels just a few feet from the door. The Wi-Fi was awful, and there’s no elevator. It’s an okay place, though short on amenities and accessibility.

Having a restaurant, pharmacy, and ice cream shop downstairs was really handy. I was also able to switch rooms when street noise bothered me, and the internet was excellent, especially if you work remotely or need a steady connection. The staff knew the surrounding area and were extremely helpful. I felt so well looked after during my four days here. A good base for exploring Santo Domingo and somewhere nice to return to.

The woman I spoke with was nice, but the room had no water, the toilet didn’t work, and neither did the air conditioner. I asked for a refund because nobody should have to stay somewhere like that on vacation. Check carefully before booking. It seemed to me they might leave things this way so guests would go elsewhere while they kept the money.
