The room I had was a fantastic self-contained flat, and the staff were friendly. It's a really good place to stay in Santo Domingo, just a little outside the main colonial streets. I wish I'd stayed longer, and I'd definitely recommend it for the comfort.
You can see many original antique items here. It's a great historic place to visit, the house of Diego Columbus, son of Christopher Columbus.
