Anton Reef

I really enjoyed the stay. The staff were very courteous, and my room was very clean, with someone coming every day to tidy it up. It’s a very secure facility, with cameras and safes in the rooms. I left my bags without any problems. While we were there, they were remodeling outside and adding a new bar rest facing Pedro Clisante ave. The pool and terrace area are also being spruced up.

I was impressed during my business trip and will stay here again. The location is great, close to downtown and an eight minute walk to the beach. My room was quiet all night on the non street side, and the front desk gentleman greeted me warmly in both English and German. They upgraded me to what looked like a nicely remodeled room. Fiber internet had been installed in it earlier that day, and they were upgrading every room to fiber. Breakfast at the attached restaurant was included and made fresh to order, and it was very good. The shower had plenty of hot water, which I later learned came from solar heat on the roof. The pool was clean and private on a second floor terrace with lounge chairs and a shower.

The staff are the hotel’s best feature. Steven, who has since changed careers and no longer works at Anton Reef, and Carlos were top notch at the front desk. Both spoke excellent English and could suggest local activities and excursions. Housekeeping was fantastic too, leaving my room immaculate every day. My clean, spacious room had a king size bed, and the superior room also has a couch and larger refrigerator. Breakfast from 8AM-11AM at the nearby restaurant is included in the reservation, and prices are reasonable, so it’s good value. The interior is clean, modern, and attractive. We had a great experience and will definitely stay here again. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond with their service. Steven gave us great restaurant recommendations and helped in many other ways. Anthony treated us like family and shared a wealth of information about Sosoua and the surrounding areas.
