It's a hidden gem, peaceful but close enough to walk to where the action is. The private beach and large pool don't get crowded, and several good places to eat are within walking distance.

I had a wonderful stay at Hispaniola Beach Apartments in Sosua. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and spacious, and the Caribbean Sea views were amazing. It's a beautiful luxury oceanfront property, with roomy apartments and a private balcony or terrace. The apartments have air conditioning, cable TV, and a kitchenette. On site there's a pool, hot tub, and fitness center. It's also an easy walk to Sosua's main strip for restaurants, bars, and shops, as well as the beach. I'd recommend it for a relaxing, luxurious vacation in Sosua.

Everything looked nice, but there were a few problems. One bedroom door wouldn't close. There was no starter roll of toilet paper, so make sure you bring some. The blinds didn't work and there were no curtains, so we had to cover the window with a sheet. In the second room, the bed wasn't attached to the headboard, and its sheet had small holes.

The condos are updated and new, and the grounds and pool are great. The staff were excellent. Excellent place to stay.

I just got back from staying at this Condominium Complex on Hispaniola Beach in Sosua, DR. The private beach and other amenities were great. If you like hot weather and want some privacy, August is a good time to go.
