Hotel El Rancho Sosúa

I try to eat at the restaurant about once a week, because the food and service are fantastic.

It's a little place with great food and prices, and a lovely night out. The pork schnitzel is well worth trying. We spent the evening laughing, enjoying the night air and good food, with positive energy all around. Everyone seemed to be old friends catching up. The food and service were perfect, and the owner was too. Thanks to all the staff for making us feel like family. I can't recommend the high quality food enough.

I believe it's German, judging by the visitors, and the hotel is older with European traditions. There’s a nice little restaurant with a good menu. The room is nice, though you may want to bring a face cloth and your own soap if those matter to you. There's no coffee pot in the room, but there is a refrigerator and free internet.

The pool is a nice spot, especially after dark, and I really liked the wooden balconies, though they're pretty small. Some ground floor rooms by the pool have no windows. It's an older place, but clean and well cared for, and the price is reasonable. The restaurant does pretty good German food, and the location is handy for the strip. Wi-Fi can be patchy, but you can usually find a decent spot in the room.
