House 24 in Casa Linda

My worst vacation stay ever. Casa linda was horrible: the administrators' rules made no sense, security was very aggressive, and management was unprofessional. I'd strongly recommend not spending your time or money there. Minus five stars.

They eventually fixed the water heater, so I had to update my review. Before that, I was taking cold showers because I had an issue with the cold water. It turned out to be a great stay, and I hope I can come back on my next visit.

The place is well built, managed, and secured, with a gate. There's a great restaurant and a handy convenience store on site. One thing to consider before buying here is that rental villas can be occupied by Natives from the big cities on weekends and holidays. Unlike North Americans or Europeans, they don't understand the "Respect your Neighbours" notion. They play latino music so loudly all around you that you may not even be able to watch TV in your own house. It's really annoying, and you'll learn the security office number by heart.

The restaurant was delicious, one of the best I've had in the city. The gated community is perfectly organized, and the team at the front gate was great.
