Los Balcones

The staff did a wonderful job and the romantic atmosphere was lovely. My room was comfortable and clean, but the rest of the property needs serious upkeep and repairs. The pool area was disappointing, especially with so little seating, which was a real inconvenience. Taking care of the maintenance would make the guest experience better and fit the hotel's romantic feel.

We swam every day in the ocean, going down the stairs through the rocks, and saw some cool fish. The location is quiet and tucked away, and the food was great. Staff were pleasant and service was very good. When we had a water problem in our first room, they upgraded us right away. The hotel is beautiful, though it does need repairs. They were working on things during our trip, including painting and fixing balconies. The price was fair, and I'll be back.

The food was cold and none of us ate what we ordered. I had the risotto, which was hard and didn't taste good. My husband took one bite of the salmon, which seemed frozen rather than fresh, then gave it to a cat wandering around. The waitress couldn't explain anything on the menu, drinks included, and kept going to ask the kitchen or bar. The menu has changed and the food is garbage. Even the table was wobbly, so we had to hold our drinks, and the tablecloth looked like something from a little mom-and-pop restaurant. The views are still amazing, but the place needs some care and maintenance. This used to be one of my favorite places anywhere. I came back after more than 10 years and couldn't believe what it had become. My uncle got married there, and I used to dream of getting married there too. I kept returning because I loved it so much, so seeing it like this was a shock. I left very sad, and we went to another restaurant. It was my birthday, and I was on vacation with my husband, who was visiting for the first time. 😓

Our room was cozy and had great air conditioning, and the customer service was excellent. We had a very pleasant stay. They're doing some renovation and restoration work at the moment.
