The road there is a little rough, and there were a few minor problems, but the staff were helpful and nice.

The house itself was nice, but it needs updating. The front door sticks, then won’t stay shut once you get it open, and some windows wouldn’t close properly. The fridge looked fairly new but couldn’t be adjusted, so the freezer didn’t work right and my beer took ages to chill. Hot water was awful, unless you’re very quick in the shower you get a cold one. We paid everything upfront through PayPal as requested, then were charged the transaction fee at check-in. They didn’t fix the safe, made us pay for electricity, and security guards asked for money when we had guests. This was my worst experience in the Dominican Republic. I would never stay there again.

People staying here often throw big parties, sometimes on a random Monday. They go on very late, and it gets incredibly loud in this quiet neighborhood. Really rude.
