Villa Deluxe at Ocean Village

That huge cockroach in our bedroom had my daughter in tears. Still, the setting is nice, and I do recommend staying here. I'm not usually into camping, but this felt different from typical camping and I enjoyed it. We couldn't use the outdoor area because it was pouring rain. If the weather had been better, it would've been nice to sit around with a couple of drinks and play cards.

A quiet, pleasant village with a restaurant on site. The Airbnb was a nice, clean option.

The villa was nice, but the service felt too expensive for what we got. Before checkout, a group of women came to inspect and count everything, from dishes and plates to little towels. It made me feel as if they thought we were stealing. They said a robe was missing from one bedroom, but how could I prove it had been there? I don't count the robes or pack them in my suitcase to take to the US. I had to pay $50 for it, which was ridiculous. I've stayed in better villas, Airbnbs, and resorts.

The apartment complex is roomy and looks great, so even at full occupancy it shouldn't feel crowded. It was a lot of fun for the whole family. My only reason for not giving five stars is that after 6 in the evening there isn't any staff around to deal with problems that might come up at night.
