The place feels private and classic, and it’s especially suited to anyone who likes peace and quiet. The people there were friendly, and the staff paid close attention. Getting there takes some effort, but it felt very safe. Everything else was fine, though I had two complaints: the water bottles provided in the room and a door that wouldn’t close properly. Those were the only things keeping me from giving it an even higher rating.

We had a really nice stay. It was cozy and quiet, well away from the city. Thanks for having us!

The nearby road brought some moderate noise, and the Wi-Fi only worked in the 'main' house. Also, without a local SIM card, getting in meant making an expensive roaming call, so they need a more practical way to handle entry. Even with those issues, this was one of the highlights of my visit to DR. The place is massive, whimsical, and comfortable, with pretty good facilities. Without the road noise, it would truly feel like paradise.

I was pregnant and traveling alone while waiting for my friend to arrive, and Ms sharon made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I’d expected a shared room with men and women, a bed, and a shared bathroom, but instead got a small private room with its own bathroom for a very VERY low price. Andry kindly helped with my bags. The place is cute and charming, and the large security gate made it feel safe. I’d stay here again if I came back to this part of D.R. I was completely worn out after flying into D.R. at 3am, too early to check into my resort. The airport there isn’t like airports in the states when it comes to finding somewhere quiet to nap. I googled hostels and cheap hotels nearby, and this showed up second with the second-best ratings. I was so tired I would have stayed anywhere. I called, and Ms Sharon replied by text. From that moment, I knew I’d made the right choice.
