AZ Hôtel Vieux Kouba

The room wasn't worth the price, and the food felt like something from a communal dining hall. The view was just buildings, and getting there means dealing with a slippery slope. The service was rude. I wouldn't waste my money here.

They make you feel right at home here, and the service is good. It's a good hotel.

The repeated interruptions by housekeeping ruined any sense of privacy I could have had. Staff came into my room several times in the mornings, despite the do not disturb sign, and without asking me. I would hear the key card and then they'd walk in. It happened with different staff, and made me feel deeply uncomfortable and unsafe, since anyone seemed able to enter whenever they wanted. I honestly don't understand how this is considered a four-star hotel. The staff, especially housekeeping, were not welcoming or nice. That lack of privacy was the breaking point, and made this one of the worst experiences of my life. Such an overrated place.

There’s a restaurant right next door and a store nearby, and the location is handy for amenities. The room was spacious and comfortable, and felt worth the price. Staff were always available, very nice, and smiley. The food could be hit or miss. Sometimes it was cold or needed more salt, though maybe that was because we ordered it to the room.
