Garden City Mall is within walking distance and has a pleasant setting with various shops. The team welcomed me warmly, and I enjoyed the stay overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, so I’d still recommend the hotel despite the problems. I’d booked five nights, but was told no standard room was available and had to take a junior suite. I was traveling with my daughter and would have preferred twin beds instead of a double, and asked to move to a standard room as soon as possible. It didn’t happen promptly. The first night was especially uncomfortable because the room was extremely hot and the heating wouldn’t switch off. I told reception several times, but nothing was done. After two sleepless nights, I spoke to the manager, Reem, who helped quickly arrange a move to a standard room. I really appreciated her help. Room rates varied each night. To get a fixed price for the remaining three nights, I booked the standard room through Booking.com, which I’d suggest other guests consider. Local currency is accepted, though cash and card payments may each have a small extra charge that isn’t always clearly explained. Breakfast was okay, but the gluten-free choices were limited. They offered me a baguette, and I’d hoped for more options, like cereal or pancakes.

The mall is conveniently nearby, and the staff were welcoming. Mouvmeh deserves special thanks for being kind and professional. I arrived late, after breakfast hours, and he went out of his way to make sure I was looked after. He really deserves recognition.

We chose the hotel for its location. The staff are good, and room service is incredibly fast. But the rooms feel cramped because there’s too much furniture, and reducing it would free up space. There was no safe in the room, which is strange, and no hand soap, which is even stranger. I had to wash my hands with shower gel.

The staff were amazing and did as much as they could to help, but management needs to pay more attention to details. The rooms are nice, though not very clean, with stains visible in the pictures. The restaurant also seemed unprepared for a big crowd: we waited 10-15 minutes for clean plates and had to hunt around for cutlery. It was an okay experience, just okay, and I wouldn’t stay again unless I had to.
