The rooms were amazing, and the cleaning staff were great too. But the service in the cafeteria was a mixed bag. On the first day, before check-in, one server was extremely rude. Another wouldn’t arrange a table for four for dinner, though they were happy to seat three; it was a buffet, so that made little sense. We ended up sharing with strangers. I could have understood better if they’d explained things politely, but they weren’t very informative either. The women servers and the receptionist, though, were phenomenal. Baraka laho fihom.

Just a five-minute walk from Chlef Railway Station, The Orange Hotel is also ten minutes from Abou Bakr Belkaid Airport. It sits north of downtown, near the central hub, so getting around the city is easy, and government offices and banks are only minutes away. It’s presented as a private residence, a “mini-palace,” with an intimate feel. The hotel combines comfort, elegance, and luxury, making for a pleasant stopover in the center of Chlef.

I underestimated this hotel when I first called to book a night. The front desk agents were professional and made us feel at home, and the dining room was clean. I especially liked the guys at breakfast. The room had the good-looking landscape I’d been promised, and the bedding fabrics were soft and clean. It seems management pays close attention to service quality. Nice job. I’d book again and recommend it to friends.
