The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby, and the breakfast came with three choices. The view and the way the place is built make it feel like you’re floating above the hill, looking out over the town and volcano. The Deluxe Volcán team helped with whatever we needed from arrival to checkout. We had a small hot water problem, but they fixed it quickly. There’s a handy little kitchen, and you can also order from a well-known Baños restaurant and have the food brought to your room. Thanks, Deluxe Volcán, for a lovely stay.

The view over town is hard to beat. It’s about an 8-minute drive, so having a car is best. We’d stay here again.

The owner is thoughtful and kind, and was always ready to help, including with general tourist information beyond the hotel. Service was quick and attentive. The place itself is unusual, and the view over Baños, Ecuador is probably the best in the city. Absolutely breathtaking.

That view was amazing, and the service really impressed my husband and me during our couple of nights in Baños on our Ecuador trip. The manager was always willing to carry things up and down the stairs for us. Our room had a mini bar with a useful selection to buy from, and the bed was very comfortable. The blinds kept the room dark enough for sleeping in after a night out. The jet tub was a great spot to unwind and take in the view, and each morning they brought homemade breakfast in a cute basket. We did have a couple of hassles: the hot water wasn’t consistent, and when the power went out after midnight, they couldn’t run the compressors, which makes sense. Those things didn’t spoil the stay. It was a beautiful, unique experience, and I’d come back if I’m in Baños again.
