The room was hot and uncomfortable, and there wasn’t any toilet paper. Reception got us a fan, which helped a bit, and some toilet paper after we asked. The sheets and bathroom sink were dirty. Then the shower backed up like a swimming pool, so we had to call maintenance, and the smaller wall-mounted showerhead was nearly falling off. The noise was the worst part. The walls are incredibly thin, with banging all night, and the neighbors’ baby sounded as if it were in our room. I got only 2-3 hours of sleep. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world, and this was probably my worst hotel experience. We paid over $100 USD per night, but parking was limited and there was no receptionist around when we arrived, so check-in took almost 10 minutes. I’m a very basic person, and this didn’t meet what I consider the bare minimum for a 4-Star Hotel. It’s incredibly overpriced, and I’d tell people to avoid it.

The beds were comfortable, the staff were very helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The rooms aren’t very soundproof, so they’re not ideal if you’re a light sleeper. The swimming pool is tiny, and using the jacuzzi costs extra, $25 for 2 hours.

The heated pool has fantastic panoramic views, and there’s underground parking. Water pressure was good, the hot water worked well, and the continental breakfast and bar were both nice. The location is good too. I took off a star for the high price for Baños and the lack of AC in the room. Given the climate, though, that isn’t necessarily a deal breaker.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in one of their suites last December. The location is great, and the infinity pool looks out over the city and surrounding mountains. They also serve tasty food and cocktails.

The rooms are huge, and the food was delicious. We found the people honest, friendly, and helpful, and the hotel was modern, clean, and safe. There’s a bar, rooftop, and restaurant, with lovely views from the suite and rooftop. The bar and rooftop offer a good range of quality drinks. It’s well located, and the prices feel very convenient for the quality. I’d recommend it, and booking ahead during high season is a good idea. Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed at, as good as a 4-star place anywhere.
